These are a fantastic product at a very good price. Wore them on a 2 day elk hunt up in the foothills. Their moisture wicking properties and insulation value are fantastic. Extremely comfortable and well made. Make sure to hang dry them only! Wool will not like the dryer. Can't go wrong with these.

I love these and the quality. They are warm and wick moisture away, as wool does. Washed well and dry super fast as per directions. I bought mens small as they were much less expensive then women. I m 5'2" 135 lbs bought a size small

I have now bought three sets of these for my husband who works outdoors in northern Alberta. We have already had Temps in the -40's and wind chills in the -50's, so these have certainly been tested! The verdict is my husband loves these. We got one set of the medium weight 250 and two of the heavier weight 350. Combined with his winter weight coveralls and assorted other winter gear he has not had one complaint! The socks are also great, and I admit I have stolen one pair as mine. They are light and thin but still very warm.

I got the pants and long sleeve shirt for my hubby. He works outside and it has been -40 c to -55 with wind chill here in good old Alberta Canada. He says he isn’t cold at all they are amazing and would like a second pair. I ordered him a large and they do stretch quite a bit, after washing they come back a bit but next pair will be a medium. Only one complaint I went to order another pair and the pice has gone up

I am prepping for two weeks in northern Scandinavia and needed to update some baselayers. I'll be outside quite a bit and needed heavyweight gear. I had some midweight shirts from last year and determined that their heavyweight gear had to be similar.
It is well made with flatlock seems and comfortable as all get out.
Medium fits me in shirts and long johns and they are very complimentary to each other in terms of sizing.
The socks were a fun extra. I have smaller feet so I just washed them in mid hot water and dried them in the dryer once to get them down to size.

I found this brand about a year ago when search for a gift for my husband. He loved it and it came with really nice socks. Since then, all of his wish list items have come from merino.tech merchandise. Just this Christmas he got a huge haul of items. His shirts from last year do have some holes now from his belt rubbing at the bottom, but they didn't shrink and he still wears them even with the holes because they are just SO NICE. This 2 piece heavy weight set he has had his eye on since the first cold hunting morning this year. He was super happy to find them in his presents, along with some mid weight long sleeves as well. They are all so soft and really comfortable. They have always been true to size and we wash in cold water and dry on low. We will continue to be customers for as long as these products are available!

I am having a hard time taking these off now that I've got them on. They feel so good! I did not expect that they would feel so soft and be so comfortable to wear.
The inseam and length of sleeves is always a problem for me when buying clothing so sizing was my biggest concern. I followed the Merino.tech chart, went with the Large and it fits perfectly (6'3" and 200ish). The quality of the wool and the stitching is excellent.
So pleased with these. I will see how they hold up over time through washings and likely order more.

These are incredible! They keep you warm and are super comfortable. I ordered a large, which is the size I normally wear, but think a medium would have been better. Either way, they are absolutely warm and amazing. i wore them all day yesterday and it was cold as balls outside. at the end of the day i was sitting for 1.5 hours in 30 degree temps and was warm except for my toes. hands and face, which were not covered in this amazing gear. If you need a warm base layer, this stuff is great!

Merino wool is THE best layer next to your skin. It doesn’t itch, wicks moisture better than anything else, and actually fights odors so it doesn’t stink like synthetic garments. Merino Tech makes the best I’ve found and they are extremely comfortable to wear. Their t-shirts are all I wear year round since I tend to perspire heavily and they work best for me. They also help to control the eczema issues that plague me. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. This long underwear set and the lighter weight set I bought from them keep me warm and comfortable in the coldest conditions no matter what I’m doing. Great long lasting investment in my opinion.

I bought this base layer for a ski trip. I've never skied before; I've heard concerns of getting too hot or too cold and I thought merino would be a good choice to regulate temperature. I got the middle weight set and it worked great! At one point I got wet from sweating a bit, but it still kept me warm later in the day when it got colder. Couldn't be happier with the performance.
The fit and fabric are very nice; this is a quality set. I would rather have 2 sets of this than buying a set from Smartwool for the same price.

I first purchased these on Amazon Prime day with a great discount. I’m in Chicago where it gets cold af. I sweat a lot due to a medical condition, so breathable fabrics are essential to my survival regardless of the weather.
I was not disappointed! Literally the greatest base layer i’ve ever owned. It’s soft, machine washable, and warm af. I liked them so much, I bought a second pair!
I was able to stay warm with this and an additional layer in -8° winds. It’s currently 20° outside. I have these on right now with a simple sweatsuit and I can go outside for a short walk and be just fine. You also get a free pair of socks that are great for boots. I really can’t praise this product more.
It’ll probably be the most expensive base layer you can buy but it’s worth every penny! I believe they’re also a small business, so support them over some big-chain store with low quality products. I will probably find a way to afford these as my only base layer for winters. If you know how cold Chicago gets in the winter and this keeps you warm, you know it’s worth the money. Buy it!

My husband needed to be out working in cold weather (teens and 20s) on a project he has to get done- can't wait for warmer weather. He tasked me to buy some thermal underwear for him, but I found this product (I got the mid-weight set) that seemed much nicer and warmer instead. I took a risk on these even though they are pricey compared to many other long underwear brands, but this is truly a situation where you get what you pay for. He says this set is awesome. It is totally keeping him comfortable and warm in the teens-30 degree weather. He can strip off outer layers as needed. Also the fit was surprisingly great. My husband has long arms (shirts are always too short) but this fit perfectly. Typically the legs would be short too on him, but again, this product fit perfectly in length. (He's 6'2"). I am bad at writing reviews unless I love a product, and I'm taking the time to do this one because I'm so happy that I don't have to worry about him freezing (he had previously been warming up in his truck every once in a while before going back to work), that I took the time to write this. Definitely definitely recommend. I anticipate buying another set for him.
