One zipper is having some trouble, which I suspect will get worse but I don't have time to exchange this tent as I need it for travel immediately. I like this type of tent but will update my review for any issues seen. What I really like about this one versus other very similar pop up tents is full rain fly. I don't expect big waterproofness from inexpensive tents, but full rain fly and being able to put in a camping cot into a this large tent can minimize any rain issues.

I owned very similar pop up tent, even same colors, by a different company, and while it was very leaky and had issues such as bad zipper and structure broke down once on me requiring many hours of repair (if top screw falls out the entire frame is gone, that screw is extremely hard to put back in) - I still liked this type of pop up tent a lot. That other similar tent did not have full rain fly, and was great for typical dry summer California camping, but rain water was coming in at zippers, seams, corners not covered by the fly/lower part, so the next tent has full rain fly.

I also like this type of tent because it goes up fast, doesn't require messing with poles and separate handling of the rain fly - which for camping solo and in such a large tent is a big deal of convenience. You arrive somewhere tired, pop this tent up quickly and you have a shelter. This can be especially handy if it's raining already - good luck setting up a regular tent without getting it all wet, especially since most modern tents have mesh top, which would leave the tent drenched. I owned expensive Marmot tent of similar size, and while it was great, I ended up hardly ever using it, because setting it up was taking time and I'd just pop up my cheap leaky popup tent, unless non-light rain was expected.

I like the colors, they blend with nature nicely, pre-attached guylines, reflective strips on 2 sides, also. Another pleasant surprise was only very minimal new tent smell, I'm sensitive and very allergic to chemical smells - this was not an issue.

After two years of late spring to early fall car camping in the Pacific Northwest with this tent, I bought a second one just in case they decide to change the color when it's time to replace it. I camp 20-50 nights a year in a tent and most are sun damaged and weak by the end of the third year if not sooner.

I've been using instant tents from various manufacturers for 15 years, including Coleman and its predecessor. The tent has worked better for me than any previous one. And I like the color.

As with any instant tent, practice setting it up and taking it down before you need to. If you feel like you need to force any poles during setup or take down, STOP. You're doing it wrong. I set up and take down the tent even in brisk breezes (15mph) without exerting strong force. (Tip: in winds, try staking down one corner on the windward side. Setting up any tent in brisk breezes is always difficult.)

The tent handles 25mph wind well when fully staked down including the guy lines. However, the tiny top hat is noisy in wind. I tend to leave it off unless it's raining. Leaving the top cap off increases sun exposure and has the potential to degrade the top.

There's room in the tent for one person with gear and it can handle two adults reasonably well. Adults are unlikely to be able to stand up in the tent which means that clothes changing can require lying down.

I wasn’t raised in the woods. I wasn’t a Boy Scout. I just enjoy camping as an adult. I bought a coleman instant tent, and of course I screwed that up. Everything got tangled and was beyond repair, so I bought this tent. I’ve used it on two long camping trips to Voyageurs National Park. This tent couldn’t be any easier to set up. I need zero help for anyone. I feel like a man!

As a Youtuber, I have featured this tent in campcraft videos. It is easy to set up, and take down.
At a campground while walking my dog, I saw a camper setting up a complicated tent. After speaking to her and finding out what her future and past tenting experiences were I asked if she was familiar with instant tents. Long story short... 5 minutes later I returned to her with my tent. Yup, I took it down and put it back in its bag. With less than a minute of instruction, she had assembled the tent, 3 minutes later she had repacked it ! I went back to my site set it back up and am confident she bought one for herself :)
