It provides a sense of orientation when outdoors. Its compass and altimeter are greatly built. Great calendar, time reading.. and it is definitely a rugged watch.
One of the better "practical" inexpensive watches I have. Almost an everyday wearer. The compass is spot on. All of the functions seem to be working fine. I was able to switch Celsius to Fahrenheit using the guide. The watch size is perfect for these size 9-inch wrists.
The North edge Apache sports watch. At 1st when I 1st saw the watch on Amazon I was very doubtful cause the watch at that price a to me just a trashy everyday watch that you would buy online. But when I finally received it from Amazon I was impressed. I do have other watches that use G shock et cetera. This watch has some weight to it barometer ultimator compass is perfect for my use as a duty officer.
